We were surprised at the time we learned that Elvis Presley’s original hair color was blonde. If you don’t believe us, look it up.

During his time with the Beatles, Ringo sang lead on a total of 11 recordings. Of these songs, Ringo was credited for writing two, Don’t Pass Me By and Octopus’s Garden. Don’t Pass Me By can be found on The Beatles. On Abbey Road, Octopus’s Garden.

We would say, “Almost never”. When one plays as many classic songs as we do, the more variety, the better. While we have built a pretty decent sized library already, we tend to add several songs a week.

We love to play Novelty Songs at RecRadioNation. Why? Because they are funny or so far out there that they add to the ambiance we are striving to maintain. Our only rule is that the song be an original composition, not a parody.

You can’t have a radio station like RecRadioNation without having a few Beatle songs on your song list. The trick is finding and playing the songs that are still relatable to today’s listener without sounding too dated.
